I'm surprised no one has taken the models from TF2 and rendered out sprites for mugen.

The universe would not be able to take such concentrated awesome and would explode and implode, at the same time.

Not enough poses for requireds.

Jango

Just fire up g-mod and pose them in the requireds on a pink stage

Fusion

Sure, if you wanna have a ton of problems with lining up poses and relative character sizes properly.

Jango

Easy. Just create a server with two users, and while you pose the character, have the other guy stand totally still and take screenshots.

UHMEEEEBA

I think we need John Freeman before anyone from TF2.

Try making 2 sets of shots, one from the SDK Model Viewer (for game model animation) with a certain prespective and angle.  Now try that in Garry's Mod, and completely mimic the lighting you get with the Model Viewer and reproduce your perspective to the exact to eliminate a graphics mismatch.

Not so easy now, is it?  The best possible way would be to get the Heavy's animation source files and render those into sprites on top of the new animations which you could make from the same fixed angle in whatever editing tool you'd use.

Oh wait, Valve never released the tool.

Jango

I wasn't talking about lighting, I was talking about using the screenshots as bases for sprites.
