Valve needs to tweak that and make it an official gameplay mode.

So I got the Prussian whatever hat for the Medic and hated it, so I merged it with my Soldier's Pot hat (which I also disliked and have no need for since I have the worms hat) and got... Texas Slim's Dome Shine...

Then it was like Valve was apologizing for that hat because like right after I died I got the Troublemaker's Tossle Cap! Now I just need to learn how to play the Scout better.

I still don't understand how crafting two hats leads to the absence of a hat.

Me neither. Granted I understand granting the Bonk Helmet since you have to craft a batter's helmet and two bonks for it, but that's the only hat-related craft I get.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to smelt my ninja throwing knives my friend gave me so I can make a sombrero out of it.

Well I have less problems with it from having played old Adventure Games where you did nonsensical stuff like that... but you didn't do it for nothing.

That's why we're probably not gonna hear a thing about Episode 3 until 2012, either.  Just... "Valve Time".

But they didn't even have to create any models this time, hell that was kind of the point.

Never trust anything a Valve dev says when it comes to scheduling.  They can and mostly will find some reason to delay.

Well for the Spy, they have to figure out how to balance the melee weapon since YOU REALLY CAN'T IMPROVE ON AN INSTANT KILL VIA BACKSTAB.

Ditto for Darwin's Danger Shield, which is a reskin of a one-use item with a very limited purpose.
