Lame trailer aside, something tells me this one will be a Steel type, since the name sounds a little like "silver"

Sylve is a somewhat depreciated word that pertains to forests (it's where Pennsylvania and Transylvania get their names). But there's already a grass Eevee so unless they're going for bugs with that name Jango is probably right.

Now I can finally say I was able to apply that one year I studied Latin to something.

Well Genesect IS a Bug/Steel, which resists Mewtwo's STAB and can OHKO him with a Super Effective, so maybe it was necessary???

It's still stupid-looking though, here's hoping it's a clone and not an evolution/clone.
