But it's almost the same plot every time! Just different characters and settings and sidestuff. Link always starts out on some asinine side quest, gets sidetracked into the plot, has to go to a few temples for some items, something bad happens, he has to go to more temples, something bad happens again, and then the last fight is against Gannon.

I haven't followed an ounce of news on Skyward Sword but I'd bet the first dungeon is in a forest and the second is in a volcano.

The Zelda series is one of the most formulaic video game series out there, people just don't give a fuck because they stagger the games every five years.
