[spoiler]The GF in their infinite wisdom cloned Ridley, that's his infant stage. He goes from being a fluffy little bird thing you meet early on and is a dick to you to being the purple fire breathing dragon in the course of the game. You find out later he also mauled a researcher to death while being chicken Ridley, I am not making this up.

They also decided to make Metroids that are immune to the Ice Beam. Adam of course freezes one right before saying this with a response about on level with I DUNNO when asked how he could freeze it.

The game, and the head designer apparently, are treating the Prime games as non canon. In case you haven't figured it out this game is an attempt to get Japanese sales up again.[/spoiler]
