My friend got it on friday, and I went over his house Saturday at 4.

We played until 9 this morning.  Brawl is fucking awesome.  As for voices, the only one who REALLY gets on my nerves is Meta Knight, and maybe Falco...

Oh, and you can walk while firing a weapon now, thank God.

I'm glad for it as well.

Makes taking enemies down, especialy with the laser cannon helluva lot more fun and interesting.

14% complete but I keep getting kicked off due to chores and other bs.

I've been playing for about 5 hours.... And I'm still not finished with Subspace Emissary. IIRC, it takes less time than this to beat Halo 3. SSE really IS that damn big.

You just finished the factory part or reguler play?

As for some reason she didn't feel the same playing with her.

Maybe she'll get better as I pratice more with her.

For me, it's a good thing. I was worried I was rushing threw it. I explore each level trying to find trophys and what not. 21% so far.  :P

Also, Snake's Smash moves are weird. His forward smash is a rocket launcher that he aims at the damn ground, so it has virtually no range; his down smash plants a mine; and his upward smash is a rocket that launches into the air. All are slow and take quite some time before they get to the part where they do some damage. Hell, Snake is a slow character in general, which is something I didn't expect.

SSE was a nice, long run.  Going through a couple of stages again for Wolf & Toon Link was fine, too.

Wolf actually plays quite different from Fox\Falco.  His moves may share the same composition, but...

- He has the slowest blaster firerate of all.
- His attack power is the greatest of all.
- He doesn't have a rapid-fire kick\punch combo.
- His reflector behaves differently, more instantaneous.
- He's also a tad slower than Fox.
- Since he has the slowest blaster, it's only natural that at close range you can deal 2 hits-worth of damage.


Despite how much people may think the voice acting would become annoying, I haven't had any problems with any of the voices.  If anything, I'd say Fox's voice this time around sounds a lot better.  Pit sounds like Axl but with added testicle dropping.   Pokemon Trainer = Better than Ash, that's for sure.  I hate it when people say that Pokemon Trainer = Ash.

Also, I'm going to be learning Lucario for a bit.  He's a character I'm most curious about, aside from the changes made to Fox and Falco.


Also, what was your SSE team?  Mine was: Lucario, Snake, Captain Falcon, Luigi.  A perfect balance, if you ask me.  Lucario for general purpose fighting, Snake for when things get a bit tricky, Captain Falcon for when absolute damage is needed, and Luigi for when agility is needed.

Yeah, the voices aren't too bad for the most part. Especially since you rarely ever hear the worst of them.



I also take it that you have to completely beat SSE before you're able to unlock Wolf?

You can unlock Wolf through versus matches, but that's a dick and a half.  If your wondering (or not), the characters I was best with were... Luigi, Yoshi, Bowser/Boozer and Pikachu.

Also, Snake is really a character you have to plan what your doing before you do it, I wouldn't go as far as saying the guy's really slow, My friend and his little brother play him very well, and I like.... only tried him in subspace, but if you plan ahead and do stuff like that, he's great.

Also, Wolf's Blaster has a bayonette at the end, so that's why it does 2 hits...

I'm just getting to Snakes part I belive in Subspace. I'll probably dick around in Versus for a bit before moving on, because I can't pull a damn combo properly to save my life.  ::)

I just wish I had my LAN adapter to play online already. I should of known that my Wifi would give me troubles.  :-\

Oh also, in Subspace, me and my friends team were as followed:
Ike, Luigi, Pikachu and Captain Falcon.  He was Ike most of the time, and I have to say, Luigi and Pikachu's speed balances out Ike's slow.  Captain Falcon came out only under extreme circumstances, and by then, we'd just rush to a savepoint in the maze.

Yes, you do.  Then head to The Ruins, and where you get to that second elevator lift part, let it drop you down below where you were supposed to go, when you see a floating door, enter that one and fight Wolf.  Also, you can fight Toon Link by entering a floating door in The Forest.

Beat SSE, clocking in at 9:08.

Now to unlock Wolf, Toon Link, and whoever else can be unlocked after beating SSE.

Jigglypuff (she's in the swamp in the area after giant Diddy), and unless you didn't get Ganondorf* during the last two stages that should be it.

*It is possible to skip him, just don't get Link and Zelda's trophies in the second to last level.

Helped the unnamed person beat SSE we used Luigi, Falco, Lucas and Meta Knight for the maze.

Although I'm sure I can go back after I'm done with this boss rush part.

I've grown into a nice team of Metaknight, King Dedede, Snake and Fox.
