That F-Zero racer vehicle (I said VEHICLE, not the racer) looks -beautiful-.  Like a high-res F-Zero GX vehicle.  And I thought GX was already perfect graphics-wise!

I see they're using the GX Model for Dr. Stewart (you can tell by his hair it's pointed, in all the other games it's flat), so Falcon will probably use his too.

... what the hell is up with the Banana in the last shot?

I thought Falcon pretty much shared the same model through all of the games?

The main difference is the helmet the falcon logo is much more pronounced in GX. His gloves are also a bit more pointy and his boots are textured a bit different.

Minor stuff really, but it's likely he'll be using the GX Model, I just hope they keep his old voice actor and not the guy from GX.
