Actually, it's a trial game system accessible only by your copy of Brawl. 

That player HAD TO HAVE shot Falco a few times for that scenario pictured to happen.

If I recall, if you choose not to shoot the guys behind him early in the level, later he'll just end up dying. Been a while sense I played though or let that happen. Anyways, more Famitsu news here's some highlights:

-The starting roster is everyone on the site, minus SNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE and Sonic.
-Dedede's fully charged forward smash can KO Mario at seventeen percent. DAMN.
-If used for two minutes, Pokemon Trainer's Pokemon become fatigued and much slower.
-Sheik still swings twice with smashes with weapons.
-Wario can use his bite attack to eat projectiles, but it damages him  six percent.
-Zelda's foward/backward aerial A can now KO at roughly sixty percent.
-Ivysaur up smash can KO at sixty percent as well.
-Ivysaur can crawl.

Forgot, the following can also crawl, don't know if there will be much call for it though:

Bowser, Yoshi, Squirtle, Ivysaur, Wario, Diddy (he can do just about everything but glide it looks), ZSS, Sheik, and Pikachu.

Sheik's three best KO moves KO at 90 or higher, from this it would seem Sheik has been nerfed.

There are apparently going to be shortages in Japan, despite the delay.

Someone claims, A, the screen turns black in VS. when all the players have selected a character, and B, Snake is apparently easy to unlock.

The character select makes the roster look small. I was hoping they'd come up with a better-looking select screen than that.

The screen can fit about 35 characters unless it scrolls or the icons shrink, I expected 36, so close enough I guess.

There's 21 characters to start with, people are expecting in the range of 30-40 characters, so there's no lack of unlockables.

Actually from what I've seen most people were stupid and expecting sixty.

If you talk with sensible Smashers like I do and not GameFAGs, you'll know they're expecting 30-40 playable characters in Brawl.

So how credible is wii-ds.com? There are a couple things they say that makes me think they're full of bullshit, but thought I'd post them anyways, as my Java program is taking forever and a day to compile. I've made the text white, in the off chance these are actually true.


Jigglypuff is unlocked via Target test... I already don't believe them for this, Jiggs has been a classic mode unlock two games running. The only reason I could see this being true, is if Snake is indeed that easy to unlock he might have usurped that role from the Jiggs.
Falco, is unlocked via 15 Minute Brawl. They claim here "again", which is a load of bull, he was unlocked from 100 Man not 15 minute in Melee. 15 Minutes gave you the crappy SSB64 DK stage.
RIDLEY, IS TOO BIG. But apparently unlocked via beating SEE with Samus. I don't know you beat adventure with Samus... seeing how you use multiple characters. Another indication of fakedom if you ask me.


Again, probably a load of bullshit, just causing a shit storm on boards everywhere.
