Apparently, it might have been an accident after all as some are claiming the video was re-re-uploaded and now no longer shows the head icons.

The YouTube version of the video is a direct rip from Nintendo's official site.  Of course, that's before Ninty noticed their error.

But as a result, Lucario's confirmed , and Ness & Jigglypuff are said to return thanks to it.

There are two You tube versions... one before Nintendo updated the video with the character heads, one after. Nintendo un-updated the video sometime last night on their own page. So in other words, it's been updated three times:

1. The normal version no heads.
2. The one with heads.
3. See 1.

That aside:

Jigglypuff; Final Smash, Peach has already sort of taken the "Everyone falls asleep" idea, what's left for the Puff? I remember there was a song move that killed everyone if you took to long after it was used, dunno if Puff can even learn that.

Lucario; any likely moves for this guy? I don't know much about him so...

I expected this... today was the original launch date in Japan, apparently some still launched, or this man is a Photoshop machine. Roster leaks are likely soon I guess.

Jesuszilla

I don't really want a roster leak. Sort of ruins the surprise of "WHO IS IT GONNA BE?!"

The game comes out in nine days in Japan, and a month an a half here, so either you can see them, or not go on the internet till March, your call really.

Jesuszilla

Saying "either" twice is a bit redundant, don't you think?

That's what she said.

Also, checked with the resident Poke-Nerd, the move I was thinking is called Perish Song, and the Puff can indeed learn it.

Teh video was indeed real. If you don't want to know the roster, I'd suggest you no longer come to this thread, as it looks to be inevitable it will be out soon.

QuoteShortfuse of SWF just contacted me and pointed out something very interesting. Here's what he had to say:

I started the "Japanese Forums" thread almost 3 weeks ago. It got some attention and was pretty popular. Gimpyfish grew interested in the way the SWF community was involved in this project of checking Japanese sites. He went to talk to a few friends who are major smash players in Japan. What happened later (and he announced on the SMYN podcast) is that he said he obtained some link to some great sites including what he though to be the Japanese Smashboards. It turned out it wasn't and the rest of the sites where just simple tournament sites. I didn't pay much attention to them. Gimpy did say since one of his friends would likely get the game early, since he hosts Melee tournaments. One of the tournament sites is http://ketubato.com . Interesting enough, this video surfaced: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VxrQiCz4_o

What's the correlation? Well, look at the user who uploaded the video. It's queensaki. Who is queensaki? It's none other than the webmaster of ketubato.com. What am I getting at? Yes, Gimpy's friend who he said was going to have Brawl early...who hosts tournaments is the one who uploaded the Brawl video to youtube. Yes guys, it's real.

I agree very much with what he said, and it looks like this video is indeed real, using the logic explained above.

Today's update?  I'll let you judge it's awesomeness for yourself:
