A PSN demo just came out. Sega however was sloppy and left in data in the game listing the games stages, bosses and powers.

Naturally this is spoilerish to those who actually care about spoilers in a Sonic game. For those of you I will however tell you the list is rather anti-climatic.

Sonic 1: Green Hill
Sonic 2: Chemical Plant, in addition Casino Night Zone will be DLC in the console release.
Sonic 3 & Knuckles: Sky Sanctuary
Adventure: Speed Highway
Adventure 2: City Escape
Heroes: Seaside Hill
2006: Crisis City
Unleashed: Rooftop Run
Colors: Planet Wisp

Do note that four of the stages are city stages and two are hill stages. Also according to Sega apparently 2006 is more important than Sonic CD.

Death Egg is listed in the bosses, probably fight the giant Robotnik from Sonic 2 again.

I find it a sort of hilarious statement about the franchise as a whole that there is a Sonic knock off in each era.

The games stages will feature some sort of a mission mode, five missions per stage during which other various Sonic characters will occasionally make appearances apparently in a sort of race type thing.

Specifically the following: Tails, Knuckles, Blaze, Espio, Charmy, Vector, Rouge and Cream.[/spoiler]
