DAT File Sprite Ripping

I've only recently got into sprite ripping the most basic way possible using such programs like, ePSXe, ZSNES, etc etc. I am now attempting to rip from 2d computer games and I have no idea where to start besides continously taking screenshots in attempt to lasso out the sprites which is becoming quite a task in it's own. I am aware some of you are pretty experienced sprites rippers and I would like to know if you could pass some knowledge off to me regarding this.

Hi, Don´t know If I can help you. But Ì´ll try. I read in MI about a tool called ArtMoney.which should be an Advanced tool for sprite ripping.
never tried it out. so find out for yourself
