I am not replacing Yun and Yang, for both of them kick ass. I've never been fond of Gato, and Mai-Ling would be hell to rip.

I never really liked King, and Elizabeth would be a pain to align and get right, let alone convert to new gameplay. Plus we want the teams to make sense as there IS a storyline.

Just wondering, how are you gonna fit Captain Commando, Strider and Final fight all in the same story?  I mean, Cody Traverse, by the time of Captain Commando, pretty old (in his fifties, if I did the math right).   Not to mention Strider takes place in 2056 or something, so its about 30 more years after Captain Commando.

Captain Commando isn't THAT far off, so Captain Commando could still be in his early development stages or whatever.


As for Strider (which takes place in 2048), in the start of the manga (which the game is very loosely based off of), Strider has just retired from the Strider organization after having to kill his sister. He probably was with them quite a while before this happened, not to mention the years of training he likely had to go through. It's not like he just went to sleep one night and woke up with ninja powers.

Although he looks young, he could just have an Athena complex.





If not, it's nothing the time rip couldn't explain, which we're already having to do for Akari and Cham-Cham anyway.
