Holy shit@3400m.

Also, goddammit, Fox's voice is worse than his design. BRING BACK THE COOL FOX!

Wario-Man is the greatest superhero that ever lived.

Besides K.K. Rider.

UHMEEEEBA

All around failure on Big Blue. When you win with a KO score of zero, something is horribly wrong.

Jesuszilla

Those guys must have not played Melee.

Just try to keep things peaceful.

Fusion

I laugh at the Wario player who thinks Wario's bike can keep up with the F-Zero racers.

UHMEEEEBA

Fun fact: Sonic with the bunny hood CAN.

Fun fact: Sonic with the bunny hood CAN.

I AM TOTALLY SHOCKED AT THAT

UHMEEEEBA

There's still no real point to it, if you remember there are parts of the track where this no track so Sonic will just run off into nothingness.

Tyrannosaurus Reich

Just so you all know, the WiFi Waiting Room music is made of sex and awesome.

UHMEEEEBA

I'm imagining it will get boring about two minutes in...

... wait did he just eat his bike?

Also, you said the s word so as a precaution, in before TMF.

Got about a good hour in before the importer had to go, I used Falco, Ganondorf, Jiggs (former mains, will still likely be among them), Luigi, Diddy, Dedede, and Wolf. We used Gamecube controllers, by the way. Some impressions and random factoids:

Falco:
Most of his normal attacks have been changed, his kick combo is now a punching one which is a bit better. His forward B is faster didn't get to test if it can still spike. His reflector is pretty useless as an actual reflector as it has more lag and can't be held. If you do manage to hit people it trips them instead of sending them up. His new neutral a is a weird torpedo like spin move, and his down a does still spike but not as often for some reason. I sucked at using the Landmaster here as I couldn't figure out how to turn because pressing the opposite direction apparently wasn't enough. Overall still a good character, just not as good as he use to be..

Ganondorf:
He's pretty much the same old Ganon, he still even has most of the same normal attacks. Choke grab is fun but pretty useless, still better than his old forward B. GANON PAWNCH is actually a bit faster, enough that I actually managed to hit things with it, including TMF in a sudden death (it was an accident I was trying to do a forward B, still he'll be made fun of it for years). Ganon's kick special seems to be a bit different it doesn't knock back as much as it use to but it seems to be faster. His glitched double jump recovery (in Melee if you use Ganon's kick in the air you can still double jump even if you've already used it), has been removed, and his recovery ain't that good anymore. The Ganon final smash is pretty good it's hard to avoid and is fast.

Jiggs:
Despite having rest nerfed, it still can kill, it just requires higher percentages now. Rollout it is still a viable option, the wall of pain can still be done but it is a bit harder to do so now. Jiggs final smash is... different as you know she expands this really doesn't do much but push people around (it could likely be an ultimate edge guard), and at the end if anyone touches Jiggs when she yells they're pretty much dead.

Luigi:
Luigi Cyclone is a quite bit different and now can be used to augment his recovery like Melee Mario did with his tornado. I didn't see his forward B misfire at all, but I assume it still can. "The Foot" as one of my friends calls it, his neutral a in the air is the same as in Melee, and still has good priority and is still fast.

Diddy:
Diddy has high combo potential, his smashes though are weak and it was difficult to kill anyone with them. Really didn't use him that much, I was too busy dying.

Dedede:
Dedede is made of absurd amounts of hax. I was easily able to chain throw with him and he's quite fast for a heavy weight and his recovery is very good too. His final smash when used on any small flat stage (i.e. most of them) is going to pretty much kill everyone in sight.

Wolf:
Wolf plays more like Melee Falco than Falco does now (so for those keeping tabs, he plays more like Melee Falco who played more like 64 Fox). Despite this his normal attacks are quite a bit different than Fox's and his throws are different too (his down throw has apparently NO combo potential, I guess they didn't want another Falco Down throw, Reflector, spike situation). His blaster isn't that strong but the shot is quite larger, and he has a bayonet on his blaster, if you use it at close range they'll get knifed too. His up B is much faster and he kicks while doing it and if you get hit by the first hit, chances are you'll get hit by all of them. His forward B I didn't use much, has great potential for stopping  rush ins though. He has a great albeit slow spike down a in the air. His reflector deals damage but it's minor, and is suggested to be used as a reflector instead of an attack. I'm definitely going to using this guy more. As for his final, it's also a Landmaster as previously stated, but having already used Falco I noticed it was A: Stronger and B: Lasted about as half as long.

Other Observations the group noticed:

Wario:
Wario can wall jump, WHAT THE HELL GUYS. He looks a bit fast for a heavy weight like Dedede.

Bowser:
Every match Bowser was in he won. He's much better than he was in Melee it would seem. Giga Bowser was just unfair.

Mario:
FLUDD isn't totally useless, you charge it and cancel with a Shield to keep the charge later. You can then use this as an edge guard later. Still not as good as the Tornado but tolerable. His foward A in the Air can spike OR behave like Dr. Mario's from Melee depending on where you hit with it... or something we weren't sure.

T. Link:
Strangely, no one used regular Link. That aside, T. Link seems to have a good combo potential and is also quite fast. The unnamed person, a Young Link user in Melee said T. Link beats the pants out of Young Link.

Olimar:
Everyone seemed to fail at using him. Unless you count throwing your Pikmin off the Bridge of Eldin while laughing manically success.

Sonic:
One, I was insulted for wanting to turn off all the vocalized music on Green Hill, but that's another story. Sonic was in about five matches, he won one. He looks like he'll have a high learning curve but has potential.

Snake:
Seemed to be good, his final was deemed awesome. His Nikita Missile is although Slow packs a significant punch, and if you cancel it, it falls straight down. His standard combo has killing potential, which is odd but whatever.

Lucario:
Only used a few times, he was too busy dying for me to get a read. His final smash was used once missed... and Lucario seemed to have been stuned, dunno if that's an effect of the move or if it was just a coincidence.

Lucas:
PK Starstorm on moving levels = hax.

PT:
I was going to use PT, but forgot, that aside despite being the lightweight of the group I think Squirtle may have the best potential as he has absurd juggles (enough that the Jiggs might actually have a rival this time). Ivysaur has a good anti-air game, and well Charizard was too busy being hit by all the faster characters to really do anything, Triple Finish is ok.

Samus/ZSS:
Normal Charge shot seems to be nerfed. Zero Laser is outright unfair, it tripled killed. And so we all promptly teamed up on the Samus user. We were too busy killing ZSS for me to really notice anything besides her Standard B has horrible range for such a bad projectile, it does stun though...

Falcon:
I apologize, the Knee is NOT nerfed. It's sweet spot has been changed, it will take a while for Melee players to get use to the new Knee but it'll still get the job done.

Zelda/Sheik:
Nothing I haven't said somewhere else.

G&W:
OH GOD THE OCTOPUS.

Everyone else we either didn't use or only used a few times.

Stages (note, we used Random, hence why a lot of stages aren't here, further Random can select Melee stages AND created stages (!)).:

Delfino Plaza: A Diet Mute City would be a fitting title for this stage. Really not much to be said here.

Final Destination: NO ITEMS, FOX ONLY, THIS STAGE. Seriously, it's the same old same old.

Mushroomy Kingdom 1-2:
All the old item blocks now spawn random items (including the 1-UP). Moves at a moderate pace. The level simply loops after the pipe that would take you to the end. No Warp Zone section (WTF!). Pressing down on the warp pipe does nothing.

Bridge of Eldin:
Dedede was killed once by the bridge spawing above him while he was trying to recover, OOPS.

Wario Ware:
Insane, that is all. We all sucked at the mini games besides the unnamed person who had played Wario Ware and recognized a few. It rewards people for succeeding at the games with random status effects (i.e. Super Shroom, invincible, etc). Some weird song about pizza was playing, it made me hungry.

Rumble Falls:
Aw the curse of the random button. Anyways, not AS bad as Icicle Mountain, it always follows the same path but its still not great, and there are random spikes on various blocks in parts of the level. When you get to the top... you end up back at the bottom... somehow it's weird. Along the stage there are random buttons you can hit which do weird things to the platforms.

Green Hill Zone:
Ok. Dedede's FS owned here (I think the curvy terrain really helped him...). There are random mid level posts from the old Sonic games you can hit, we spent a minute and half trying to figure out if they did anything, and still couldn't. Oh, and parts of the section fall apart randomly (this is when we discovered Wario can walljump).

New Pork City: There is one section that can be destroyed towards the bottom. No one died to the Ultimate Chimera... but he did force people who running away to run back towards the fight (I think this is his real purpose...). PT runs around in the background and is often obscured, but he's there.

Pokemon Stadium 2:
Pretty much the old one but with new effects...

Other Pokemon stage with the big mean Blue guy in the background:
The big mean blue guy fucks with the stage from time to time, tilting it and even jumping into the center and owning everyones face. It can also fall apart in various sections... seems to be no rhyme or reason to it though.

Luigi's Mansion:
You can lay waste to this stage and essentially turn into a Final Destination, it does respawn eventually though. Strangely Tetris Music A can play here...

Castle Siege:
Really not much to say... it's just three stages in one really.

Great Sea:
AWESOME. You start on Tetra's Ship, the King of Red Lions is behind it occasionally. Then after sailing for awhile, you can be hit by a massive cyclone and launch in the air (no seriously it goes REALLY high and takes awhile to fall back into the ocean). The boat also hit a small rock outcropping a few times and promptly tilted to the point we thought it would sink... it didn't but you then get to fight on the rock until it sinks and the boat proceeds. There's a weird contraption on the left side of the ship that will fling things away... it's kind of hard to describe. Oh and you can be shot at by Watchout towers, they mean business, it hurts, we're talking Bob-omb Bomb strength, not Links. Oh yes, you can swim in the Cel shaded water... just don't swim under the prow of the boat it seems to damage you.

Onett:
Unchanged.

Jungle Japes:
You can now swim here, not that it will help the current will still do you in. PT stands on the Cabin's rough here. TMF not only survived the Klaptrap, but in our attempts to make him die because of it... it triple KOed EVERYONE ELSE AT THE SAME TIME.

Big Blue:
Same.

Rainbow Ride:
... something seemed different, I dunno what.

AT (we actually didn't see a lot...):

Kat and Ana:
Laid waste to Luigi's Mansion no seriously one minute it was at full health and the next GONE, they do several strikes, it's really quite powerful, albeit a bit random in the hits...

Dr. Wright:
Pretty much useless, no range to speak of.

Pokemon (also didn't see too much):

Strange thing that ate me:
Some strange green Pokemon that ate me as Jiggs, he was an ass.

Sneasle Mk II:
Dashs back and forth a lot.

Weird Flying Thing:
Flies off screen and then does a series of attacks.

I'm tired, that's all I fell like posting.

Wow, if I may steal TMF's catchphrase/whatever you kids call it these days, Collective fail.
