Unlike Take Two, I believe EA actually cares about it's PR.

So here's how it would go if Jack does help be a deciding factor:

Take Two gets acquired by EA.
Jack them starts blaming EA for all the faults.

This is actually, believe it or not, an agreeable move if I'm reading it correctly.  The EA of today is far from the EA of so many years ago.  It's evident in their Need for Speed titles: They started caring less and less about what the gameplay was and Need For Speed became a Madden.  As in, it became so repetitive that EA never changed the formula.  And only recently they've tried to take Need For Speed in a direction it shouldn't go.

Need For Speed was built as both a simulation and a fun game.  Yet the game is more famous for it's arcade element and in general just being a plain fun racer.  I was disgusted when they added in the gangsta stereotypes along with a bunch of BS territory crap.  Maybe if Jack hits their PR, they'll stop that crap and actually put out a game that's just plain fun to play instead of painfully boring.

It's Australia.  They don't really matter because Australia is tough on games anyway, so that's not a surprise at all.  Now, if the games they're protesting involved the Australian outback, then maybe they either wouldn't be barking so much or they'd be barking more.


I just know a lot of companies' Australian branches are total pricks when it comes to games.
